So I'm easily amused...

I've had the total blahs all day and a massive headache at that. So lets just say i wasn't thrilled to be going to the grocery store at 8:30 pm. Oh, but I'm so glad I did! I'm dragging myself through the produce section when I spot it. A little new walker kind of bobbling down the aisle. His parents a few steps ahead. Not paying much attention. Out of nowhere the kid grabs a potato and takes a big ole bite. Very nonchalantly. He was just curious, but for some reason I can't find the energy to hold in the laughter, so the parents turn around to see their little guy putting the potato(with a big bite missing) back in the potato pile. Do they pick up the potato? No. Do they look and leave? Yes! Now, they saw me laughing. They know, that I know, that they know exactly what their kid just did, and they continued to walk on. It was all too quirky. I loved it!

I'm Sorry. I know this won't be funny in the morning.

This is Chris (Merilee's husband)...

When I heard the story I laughed too.

But, more importantly, it is our wedding anniversary tomorrow! 12 Years! Can you believe it? How did she stick it out so long with me, I still can't figure that out.

But, even more importantly... since it is our anniversary tomorrow Merilee will be taking a one day vacation from Blogland (the thing that she loves more then anything else! Well except for maybe a country singer or two)

But, even more importantly then that...

Merilee, you are the most bestest wife ever! Just so everyone in Blogland knows, my wife rocks! She completes me. (I had to say that at least once in my life). Tomorrow we are renegotiation our contracts, I hope she picks up the option for another year.

I look forward to the adventures that will come our way.

I love you!

Chris

Chris, you're right. Merilee does rock. How you ever survived w/o her I will never know. It's a good thing you moved to AZ.

Thank you for taking care of my sis so well. You really are so perfect for each other. I knew you were going to be my BIL since your first date to downtown PHX. You don't know this, but whenever Merilee comes down to Chandler w/o you, she just brags on you all the time, and gets all dancey when you call.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Sorry if this is all cheezy, I've been reading Brian's blogs.

Good story, but even better comments from your husband. I'll just have to forgive Chris for being a little pyscho about getting dirty. Have a great anniversary!
