My turn
The kids all were awake way before their alarms buzzed. They had there clothes all laid out ready for them to throw over their sleepy heads. Brushed their teeth without my usual reminder. They ate a big breakfast (that just means a bigger bowl of cereal). Where are they going? Back to school!! Although Sid and Mas were in agreement that "the first day of school is kind of scary." They were all very excited! Even Boston, for the first time ever, was excited for school. I think it may have something to do with starting middle school. He's feeling very grown up.
Now I am enjoying my freakishly quiet day, and my house that may actually stay clean for a few hours.

that's hilarious. I was just thinking of running to Costco!
Merilee, cute pics, but what I really want to comment on is your music, specifically the Format sings "Holly Jolly Christmas" I LOVE IT. Actually, I just love Christmas music in general. Any time of year! Thanks for making me happy!
Cute pictures! I can't wait until my house will stay clean for a few hours!
how cute! boston is going to be such a heartbreaker!
Those are some great looking kids.
i am so happy for you to have some solitude. I thought that would happen when my kids went back to school, but I just got busier. I hope it works out for you. The house does stay a little cleaner though.
Where is that toile? I really like it.
That is a quilt I have. I just hung it over the door for the pics.
Cutie kids! What an exciting day for everybody. A quiet house...what's that?
Hi Mer. The pics of the kids are beautiful! Guess what? I have a blog!
At this point Meg has done more of it than I have, but I'll get going. I will post on it everyday while Dad and I are tripping. Umm ... I never thought to use Costco as my entertainment. Love ya!
Cute! I love when the kids are excited about school.
