alone, alone, alone, alone

Chris took the kids night skiing tonight. I'm home alone. It is a bit odd, but I must admit I'm enjoying it. I did a little laundry. I had a cookie and a piece of fudge for dinner. I just got back from seeing an adorable movie, all by myself. I haven't gone to the movies by myself in years. I forgot how much love it. I can completely sink into the story. There is no one to notice if you are crying. No one to keep making silly little comments to, and no one making silly little comments. Best of all, now I can guiltlessly blog until my family gets home
.
ps. The movie I saw was Bella. I'm not posting a clip because it gives too much away. Go see it though, it's good!

Gotta love the alone time! I'm glad you did what you wanted and ate what you wanted:) I haven't heard anything about that movie, I'll have to check it out. I love going to movies during the holiday season!

Mer, you and Kim are so much alike. Your twisted humor and love of seeing movies alone are just 2 of many similarities. I guess that's why she LOVES your blog.

I want to see that movie but can't find where it's playing. alone time is good because then you actually miss your kids.

Kim and brian- Thank you, what fabulous compliments! One, that you enjoy reading my blog and two, being called similar to Kim Horak is quite the honor.

Megan- What did you like about it? And thanks for letting me steal your M. Ward song. I absolutely love it. I'm not however particularly loving Andrew Bird. He sounds exactly like Rufus. Why do we need two?

Mer, I don't throw a compliment like that around very often. You're welcome. Just know that you now have a lot to live up to!

i think i need to go to a movie by myself! it sounds great to not have to worry about crying and then being discovered and hear so comment about it!

i've never heard of the movie!

how come you didn't go night skiing with them?

Mahina, I only ski when it is sunny! In other words, I'm a total wuss.

Merilee- We love how simple your guys Christmas card is. I love the picture of the kids and of course went of on how awesoem they are. Reuben said he likes that you probably didn't have to spend a lot of money on it. That doesn't sound like a compliment but it is.

The song I have of Andrew Bird on my blog does sound like Rufus, but not all of them do. That was just the only song I could find that actually worked. I think he sounds like Rufus too sometimes. Maybe it is just the violin that adds something extra or me. I am a sucker for songs with strings in them.

Merilee! Heidi just called and told me who you are! I can't believe it. What a small world. So you are her VT who gave her the cookies and frosting (brilliant idea!) I have seen your comments on Heidi's blog...now I know who you are! I have just spent the last hour reading your blog (blogstalking, Heidi says :-))...AND Elise's, and your mom's, and Megan's....I have had a Bogle reunion here! It has been so fun reading about what everyone is up to. :-)
