C'mon

So this is my fave, The Format. I found out a few weeks ago that they decided to stop making records. No, I did not cry for hours and I did not post a comment on their myspace and I did not fold up the posters on my walls and tuck them solemnly away, but it is a big fat bummer! I love this performance. I think I just want to BE either one of those dudes with their crazy talent and messy hair even though they do cheat and use seen and been as rhyming words.

And five bucks to whoever can tell me what kind of shoes the singer is wearing. No, no wait just one buck.

Brian thanks for the help. I actually tried that a million times with no results. Then Chris came to my $#@%$# rescue with one touch of the keys.

Sometimes it just takes a Man's touch, right Chris? HA!

Ha! You got that right Brian.

Although now this song/video is playing non-stop at our house.

What shoes? Darn, I really wanted that buck.

But I'm just about crying from the brilliant melody and beautiful lyrics. Thanks for sharing.

Ian made me pause it a billion times but we could never see the shoes...

I heart The Format

Chris, it's not on non-stop. Let's be honest now. Plus Mason has been asking me all kinds of questions about the lyrics. I'm pretty sure that is what inspired him to write his song yesterday. So there are benefits.

Brenda you have proved many times over that you have fabulous taste in music, so your welcome and I'm glad you liked it.

Boston and Mason figured out the shoes for me. Bos enlarged the video and then still framed it. I didn't know you could do that. Then Mas was the one to actually know what kind of shoes they were.
Let's see if anyone else can get it.

are you looking for the brand of the shoes? They look like moccosans to Elise and I. What are they? We are all dying to know now.

I couldn't tell what they were until Bos & Mas figured it out. They are those sheepskin moccasin slipper things.

Here are his shoes. I thought at first they were the Ipath Shearlings, but the back is way too low. Then I thought they were the Ipath anderson's in sheepskin, but no laces. Then maybe the Globe Castro's in sheepskin, but his tongues are folded down too low. But if you look at the Acorn Sheepskin driver and see the little black rubber on the back, that is a perfect match to Nate's shoes. I'll be collecting my dollar a week from Monday.
